Klay Singapore Names Ex-Deutsche Figure For COO Role

The newly-appointed figure at Klay in Singapore has served in roles at Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered and BNP Paribas, among others.
The Dubai-headquartered boutique financial firm, Klay, has appointed former Deutsche Bank senior figure Cheryl Wong (pictured below) as chief operating officer in its Klay Singapore business.

Wong has more than 30 years of experience across risk management, compliance, operational excellence, and transformation, Klay said in a statement on its Linkedin page.
Wong has worked in roles such as that of chief operating officer at Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, and has been head of compliance at BNP Paribas and Standard Chartered Bank.
“Her expertise spans across wealth management, investment banking, global markets, and retail banking, making her a valuable addition as we continue to scale our presence in the region,” the firm said.
Klay provides services including wealth management, multi-family office, corporate advisory, and asset management. It has a presence in the UAE, Singapore, the UK and India.
